Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Tassir Fund and how we work.

Tassir Fund is an ethical alternative credit fund financing Nigerian SMEs on a cost plus markup basis. We fund the assets, stock and raw materials a business needs to grow, at a price agreed before signing, with no interest and nothing that compounds.

It is the simplest part of what we do, and it works like this.

One. You send us the invoice or quotation from your supplier for the goods you need, whether that is stock, raw materials, packaging or a piece of equipment.

Two. We agree a markup with you. That markup is a fixed amount of naira, not a rate, and it is agreed before anything is signed.

Three. We pay your supplier directly, so the goods reach you without your cash going out.

Four. You pay us the cost plus the agreed markup later, on a schedule we set together.

That total never changes. It does not grow because time passes, it does not fall because you pay early, and there is no interest anywhere in it. If a payment is ever late, any charge that applies goes to charity rather than to us.

No. We do not lend money and we do not charge interest. We settle your supplier for goods your business needs, and you pay us the cost plus an agreed markup later. Because the financing is tied to specific goods rather than to a sum of money, the cost is fixed at the start and cannot move.

No. Our profit comes from the trade transaction itself, being the purchase of an asset and selling it at a disclosed markup. This is fundamentally different from interest, which charges for the use of money over time. Our total sale price is fixed at contract signing and never increases.

Cost-plus sale. We purchase assets or inventory directly from the supplier. We then sell the asset to you at a transparent, pre-agreed price. The total is divided into equal instalments over an agreed tenor.

Our trade profit is determined at contract signing based on asset type, transaction size, and risk assessment. The total sale price is fixed upfront and disclosed transparently before you commit. The total amount does not change regardless of your chosen repayment period.

No. The total amount you pay is fixed at contract signing. Whether you repay in 3, 6, or 12 months, the total stays the same. A longer tenor simply means smaller monthly payments.
